Welcome to the PrEPARE Project.

The PrEPARE Project is a survey of gay and bisexual men that aims to understand attitudes towards HIV prevention technologies like pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), treatment as prevention (TasP) and condoms. The data collected in the survey is used by researchers, community organisations and governments to guide and refine HIV prevention programs in Australia.

The survey started in 2011 and has been conducted every two years since then.

The 2019 survey has now closed. The results of the 2019 survey will be made available on our results page. In the meantime, you can see past results and follow our Facebook Page for more updates.
